TheFreeMac has existed in one form or other to promote the use of Apple technology in education, including free and OpenSource software.

After a hiatus to focus on other things, the site is coming back and will feature articles on the great range of free software out there for the macOS and iOS platforms, as well as using the RaspberryPi platform to teach Computer Science.

A new addition will be a library of freely available guidance on Information Governance in the Public Sector, including sample Information Sharing Agreements, the Legal Gateways available to Local Authorities to share data effectively and links to useful documents and articles to support this vital area of work, particularly important in the Safeguarding Children space.
